What are Town Squared prints?
Town Squared prints are original pen and ink drawings of iconic places, created by Caroline in her Whitstable studio. Each piece captures the character and charm of a location in a distinctive square format.

What size are the prints?
Although the original drawings were squares the actual prints have been collected into A2 portrait and landscape (59.4 x 42.0 cms) prints and A3 portrait (42.0 x 29.7 cms). You can see how the prints look here.

Are they original drawings or prints?
The original drawings are created by Caroline in pen and ink. From these, high-quality prints are made available for purchase. Original drawings may also be available - please ask!

📦 Ordering & Delivery

How do I place an order?
You can browse available prints here or you can order here. Alternatively you can contact Caroline directly to discuss your order. She'll guide you through the process and answer any questions.

Do you ship nationwide?
Caroline ships unframed prints throughout the UK using tracked Royal Mail Tracked 24 and 48 service. Artwork is carefully rolled in acid-free tissue paper and shipped in a protective triangular postal tube.

Framed prints are available for collection or local delivery only within the CT5 postcode area due to their delicate nature.

How long does delivery take?
UK shipping typically takes 1-3 working days using Royal Mail Tracked services. Local CT5 deliveries can often be arranged within a day or two.

🖼️ Framing & Presentation

Do prints come framed?
Prints are available both framed and unframed. Framed options are only available for collection or local delivery within CT5. Unframed prints are carefully rolled and shipped in protective tubes.

What framing options are available?
Caroline has a limited number of specially selected frames available at her studio and can frame your order for you, subject to availability. You're welcome to discuss frame styles and options that would suit your chosen print with Caroline, if necessary.

🏛️ Custom Commissions

Can you draw my town or a specific location?
Caroline loves creating new Town Squared pieces! If you have a location in mind, check out the "Other Towns or Cities" page for guidance on what makes a great subject, then get in touch to discuss your idea.

How long do Just 4U Squares take?
Timescales vary depending on Caroline's current workload and the type of square you want drawing. If you do not have any specific deadlines, just place your order for a Just 4U Squared piece and the process will begin and she'll let you know delivery timescales then.

Can I commission my own 'Squared' piece or an illustration something special?
Commission timescales vary depending on Caroline's current workload and the complexity of the piece. She'll give you an estimated timeframe when you discuss your project. Examples of her previous commissions and other painted artworks will be added on the website soon.
